Orgasmaphoria Perspective
Editorial View & What It Contributes
First published in 2014, More Than Two was widely celebrated for its critique of couple privilege and advocacy for autonomy. However, in 2019, co-author Eve Rickert and multiple community members published extensive documentation regarding relational abuse, gaslighting, and coercive control by Franklin Veaux during and following the book’s creation. Rickert subsequently retracted major portions of the original text, leading to a fully rewritten Second Edition in 2024 (co-authored with Andrea Zanin) that rectifies the original’s hyper-individualistic and accountability-deficient framing. Orgasmaphoria catalogs this edition with complete editorial transparency to educate readers on ethical boundaries and relational accountability.
